Located in the breathtaking hills of Kurseong, where the world heritage toy train whistles, lies the sprawling Goomtee tea estate. Located just an hour and a half away from our facility in Siliguri, we traveled to this iconic tea estate and procured this exquisite chinary tea fresh. This fine Indian single-origin tea picked at 4000 ft. is medium-bodied, mellow, and fruity. Notes of Mirabelle plums and apricots arrive at the start with accents of grapefruits and musk towards the middle. The aftertaste is oaks, a sublime experience of Summer Flush Darjeeling 2021.

A medium-bodied, mellow cup which starts with delicious tangy-sweet flavors, similar to Mirabelle plums and apricots which gradually grow into prominence and reverberate throughout. The flavors are clear, layered and feel ample in the mouth. Delectable undertones of grapefruit are discernible around the edges complemented by muted musky accents which come through towards the finish; rendering a layer of depth and distinct texture to the liquor. Velvety oaky tones can be picked up in the aftertaste, making for a memorable experience of Summer Chinary black teas from this renowned tea estate.
