Lying amidst the lush mountain streams, surrounded by forests, and usually covered in mist, the Jungpana tea estate is one of the picturesque gardens in Darjeeling. Located at 4500 feet in Kurseong, we have travelled to this estate and procured the fresh Jungpana Summer Chinary Black of this 2021 summer harvest. This fine Indian single estate tea is medium-bodied, extremely fruity, with delectable notes of apricots and peaches. When the experience arrives in the middle, subtly musky hints play on the palate. The aftertaste is chestnuts. A memorable experience of Indian summer flush from this reputed tea estate.

A medium-bodied, well-rounded cup which starts on a crisp, fruity note, reminiscent of lush apricots and yellow peaches, which coat the palate and render a distinct texture to the liquor. Subtle musky undertones are discernible around the edges, which however ebb to reveal a delicate woody frame towards the finish. Velvety accents of chestnuts can be picked up in the aftertaste, making for a sublime experience of Summer Chinary black teas from this celebrated tea estate.
