Unlike any other estate in Assam, this tea garden is scenically situated along the bank of the Buri Dihing river inside the Jeypore Reserve Forest which is a part of Dehing-Patkai wildlife sanctuary. The estate boasts of a rich cultural history with the first section being planted way back in 1837. Since the estate is surrounded by dense rainforest, the area is very humid and receives heavy rains; also making it a hotbed of biodiversity.
