Tasting Notes

From our Chief Tea Taster
Submit
Aroma
Aromatic; with notes of lily, fuchsia peony and ambrosial hints of muskmelon
Appearance
Bright-Orange
Taste
A velvety, smooth cup offering a flowery-sweet signature of Asiatic lilies and fuchsia peonies joined with delectable tropical fruity undertones. The floral notes are long and hum along throughout the length, which mingles with luscious tones of muskmelon around the middle and the back rendering a rich, vivacious texture to the cup.

Subtle fresh-green accents shore up along the edges which however ebb to finish on slightly sweet, grape-like flavors, making for a distinguished experience of Spring Moonlights from the verdant hills of Darjeeling. The second steep recommended at 4 minutes is equally enjoyable and is recommended with ice for an enthralling experience.

Excellent enjoyable tea!

A very fine tea, very floral, and has perhaps some characteristics of a Phoenix Bird oolong. It doesn't look like a Chinese silver needle white tea, but a bit more like a Bai Mu Dan. I got good results from steeping at 195 F. HIghly recommended. Also very well documented, but would prefer an even larger ziploc bag to move the tea into after opening.

What a great tea...

What a great tea. A true taste of white tea. Very flowery, light and pleasure to drink. Highly recommended white tea. I have been buying tea from many other sources but TEABOX is my new favorite! Wonderful tea.

After you drink this tea, you're mouth will be full of flowers.

This tea is full of tropical fruit notes and sweet floral notes. It was winter, so I boiled it with warm water, and the room was filled with the sweet and fragrant aroma of tea. I think it is the result of the hard work of the Teabox masters.

TEABOX QUALITY HAS STUMBLED

I'm an old customer even before teabox was started. It was darjeelingXPRESS Before Andy favorite tea was gopaldhara. Recently purchased tea looks to be old stock and doesn't taste as good as the earlier once. TEABOX has to provide good quality. By just good packaging you cannot get retention of customers. Sorry to say.

Delightful surprise of great taste.

Delightful surprise of great taste; floral and fruit. Flavorful. I knew from the aroma of the dry leaves it was going to be good and it was. Easy to brew, forgiving, an easy happy pleasure. Gives a nice energized calm.
