Established in 1881, located in the heart of Kurseong, the Giddapahar tea estate is one of the oldest plantations in Darjeeling. Known for producing characteristic chinary cups, this 2021 first flush cup is a special one. As you sip, the unique note of greens arrives at your palate. Around the middle, hints of unripe tree fruit with flavors of cantaloupes shore up, rendering intensity to the liquor. Towards the end, delicate notes of green almond linger on, a delightful experience of first flush chinary black tea.

A light-bodied, brisk cup which starts with a distinct note of sweet greens which gradually grows into prominence and resonates throughout. Subtle undertones of unripe tree fruit interlaced with delectable flavors of cantaloupe shore up towards the middle and around the edges; adding a layer of depth and vivacious intensity to the liquor. Delicate notes of green almond can be picked up towards the end which lingers on, making for a memorable experience of Chinary black tea this Spring season.
