This fragrant black from the highlands of Darjeeling is made during the end of the first flush and captures the flavors of the changing season. Fruity notes from the environ which is gradually moving toward warmer days of summer come forth joyfully in this bright cup. This is a cup that you can use to lighten up and share with a select few.

The liquor is medium-bodied, brisk, quite well rounded and bright tasting throughout. A raw note catches your palate immediately from the first sip; similar to unripe tree fruit which extends all the way till the middle. Here, a soft vegetal note similar to sweet greens coupled with undertones of wet wood come in and bring more variety and depth to the cup. Notes of waxy flowers can be picked up in the aftertaste.
