Lakyrsiew Exotic Summer Black Tea
This floral, fragrant second flush is brisk and balanced with vibrant tropical fruity undertones.
Lakyrsiew from Meghalaya produces small batches of extremely good tea every year, and they are quite exotic. This early second flush reels in fresh and sweet floral fragrance characteristic of the distant foothills. The liquor is medium-bodied and brisk which makes for a pleasant cup. Notes of orchids and amaryllis enrich this black while subtle hints of wintergreen oil and tropical fruits gives depth and brightness to it. A sweet aftertaste follows.
Sweet, marked by notes of vanilla, raisins, fresh walnut along with gourmet notes of nougat
Elegantly twisted, stylish, long blackish leaves interspersed with ample ochre-hued tips
Fragrant - redolent of a floral bouquet, white roses with mystical notes of patchouli and mild honeyed undertones
Mix of fully open, broad, dark-green and light coppery leaves; some with one leaf and a bud
