description

One of Darjeeling’s organic estates, Oaks makes a few rare specialties a year from traditional chinary plants. This one has an uplifting aroma of raw fruits and light floral intonations. The liquor is medium and brisk to a small degree. The fruity attributes are pronounced throughout with a sweetness like that of succulent cantaloupes giving the liquor a deeper character. A tinge of green can be picked up together with earthy tones in the middle. These make way for nuanced floral notes that balance the cup perfectly and stay on for a pleasant aftertaste.

aroma:
Lifted note of unripe tree fruit, cantaloupe, green undertones and subtle floral hints
appearance:
Gold
taste:
A medium-bodied, slightly brisk cup, tipped with vibrant fruity attributes. A distinct raw fruity note can be perceived immediately which gradually grows big as you make your way through the liquor. Delicious, sweet flavors akin to cantaloupe come through around the edges, rendering a layer of depth to the cup. Subtle green undertones along with earthy accents can be picked up towards the end, which however ebb to finish on soft, floral tones. These floral notes linger on, giving the cup a rounded character and making for a memorable experience of Chinary black tea this Spring.
