I bought it for those evenings when milk gets over at home. I thought it will be like those sweet premix packets, but this actually made proper chai with just hot water. The Assam Masala one has that ginger-cardamom smell when you stir it, which made me feel like this real chai.

I don’t like most premix chai. They either taste too sweet or have that strange powder smell. Teabox felt different because the spice taste comes through slowly, especially cardamom. I still prefer homemade chai when I have time, but this is very useful when I don’t.
