description

The best conditions for a good oolong are a fine patch of the right chinary or clonal tea bushes at an altitude with temperatures from 5 to 20oC. And this one’s got all of those. High-grown in spring from the best clonals, this oolong has the makings of a Taiwanese Bozhong. It is enjoyably crisp with lively flavors which are long, restrained, and come together beautifully.

aroma:
Marked by notes of ripe tropical fruits similar to watermelon with undertones of white orchids and a touch of pine.
appearance:
Light gold
taste:
The liquor is smooth, feels light and clean but ample in the mouth and quite rounded. There is a brightness to the cup which instantly demands your attention. A brief note of pleasant greens right at the start paves way for a rich fruity sweetness, similar to watermelon and pineapple which lingers on well into the finish and gives the cup a distinct character. There is a crisp note of aromatic white flowers which comes around subtly around the edges and adds to the overall experience. The second steep is just as flavorful.
COMPLEMENTS:
Ideal with soft cheeses, like the Camembert, and a salad course.
