Glendale Special Spring Twirl Black Tea

description

This spring pick is made in the famed twirl-style that all good Nilgiri teas have come to be associated with. Unlike Darjeeling spring teas, which taste leafy and floral, notes of fruit dominate the cup with this one. It's equally brisk but richer and juicier than most spring teas.

taste

The liquor is slightly brisk yet well-balanced, full bodied, and ample in the mouth. It has a distinct leafy, raw quality to it, similar to the taste of melon rind and sweet herbs. Balancing the leafy attributes are the powdery and bitter-sweet floral notes of lily. A light note of undergrowth can be picked up in the aftertaste.
