Having just received my first full order of Assams & breakfast black teas (as opposed to the trial pack I first got), the Irish breakfast was the first I tried. Strong & malty, as this tea is frequently described, it was not quite as dark as I expected but was really delicious, leaving you thinking about another cup. And see, now I’m thinking about tomorrow morning’s brew.

A really nice rich tasting but refreshing tea that can be drunk anytime during the day. Three scoops into the cup, four minutes steeping then add milk and enjoy.

I’ve always been partial to Irish Breakfast tea and this one is exceptional. Best I’ve tasted, despite having had in both Ireland and England. 🙂 It’s full bodied without being bitter; just a nice smooth tasting tea with a beautiful deep color. Plain or with milk and sugar, it’s just delicious. HIGHLY recommend.

As always, Teabox Assam delivers a beautiful cup of malty, deep and satisfying tea. So lovely on our cold antipodean winter days with a freshly baked biscuit!

Nice caffeine boost, straight-forward tea flavor. It had a slight aftertaste I don't have the vocabulary to define, which I thought at first I didn't like, but then decided I liked it fine. A good first-thing-in-the-morning tea.

Only when we started drinking this did we realise how plain normal black tea tastes and coffee shops don’t offer anything except what you would get at home. It’s an amazing tea which we look forward to each day.

What can I say?….great service and fantastic tea. Ditch the bags!

My tea arrived very quickly from its origin to the United States. The box came well packed against the elements, and the tea itself was vacuum-packed and came with an extra, resealable bag to help keep the freshness. This Irish breakfast blend is excellent! It's a strong taste but not overpowering or bitter. I take it with a bit of sugar, and it's a fantastic way to start my day.

I Did not realise how bland conventional tea bags were until I tasted this, so full of flavours and so fresh tasting, I have shared some and get the same positive response, my new everyday tea !

My morning go to tea

I have ordered from Teabox before and will continue to do so. The tea is of much better quality than other options and the company is so helpful and easy to use.

I’ve 3 tried 3 flavours of tea from Teabox now, each one distinct, flavourful and far superior to any tea I’ve ever tasted before. As an Irishman, that’s a serious compliment. If you haven’t tried their Assam teas I implore to try the Pekoe Orange Assam flavour. Delicious and malty notes add to the taste.

I tried your tea on a bit of a whim and a hope for something better than what's been available to us in our grocery stores and I was delighted it is delicious it tastes exactly like I had hoped good Irish Breakfast tea with taste and it didn't leave a bitter aftertaste in my mouth
