Tasting Notes

From our Chief Tea Taster
Submit
Aroma
Marked by notes of honeysuckle with hints of muskmelon and sweet-grapey accents
Appearance
Bright Orange
Taste
A medium-bodied, mellow cup which starts with a sweet-floral character akin to honeysuckle and gradually opens up to reveal delectable tropical-fruity flavors akin to muskmelon towards the middle, defining the taste profile of the liquor.

Towards the middle, luscious stone-fruity accents intermingle with subtle honeyed accents, rendering a layer of depth and distinct texture to the liquor.

Sweet-grapey tones shore up towards the end, which lingers on making for a distinguished experience of clonal black teas this Autumn. A delight to the discerning palate!

Should have bought more!

Till now, I had not really enjoyed Oolongs, but I now realize that maybe I've just been drinking lower quality Oolongs, or ones that perhaps were past their prime. This was such a different experience than anything I've had before. The brew is very light, almost like a white tea in the cup, but the flavor is deep and complex. My first cup, I emptied far too soon while I was evaluating the flavors. I would drink this every day-and I did, until I ran out!

Excellent flavour. Only want better packaging and storing container to sustain the taste and smell.
