Goomtee Special Summer Chinary Black Tea
A mellow Darjeeling cup with medium strength and marked notes of stone fruits like apricots and plums.
Every year Goomtee’s teas stand out from the hundreds of cups that we sample. And for good reason. This one’s welcoming and aromatic, and with a mellow, medium strength. It preps your palate with subtle tart notes of plums and grapefruits, and then impresses with ripe and rich flavors like those of apricots. A pleasant texture comes forth with a layered and ample mouthfeel. There are some nuanced tones of oakwood mixed with musky hints toward the end. A certain tartness comes on in the aftertaste to give the drinker a truly special, traditional chinary experience.
Caramelised, hazelnuts along with soft notes of raisins, candied fruits and firewood
Medium-sized, tightly rolled, blackish-brown leaves interspersed with some tips and odd brown leaf cuttings
Hints of peach, wet wood, light vegetal and musky undertones
