Not as good as it used to be

Teabox's Halmari has been lackluster over the past couple of years. The quality isn't what it used to be. Tends to be bitter with little hint of malt.

Never boring

This Halmari is my all-time favorite Assam - it's full-bodied, moderately strong, and malty but not overly sharp or citrus-y in the finish like many Assams. There is a complex, mouth-filling, subtle sweetness and vanilla/floral quality that lasts from beginning to end. I find many Assams to be just boring due to the high tannins/malt creating a rather monolithic experience. Not this one. I drink it every day and the experience is still fresh.

This is the best tea EVER.

Strong but delicious

This is a very strong tea but a delicious tea. Because of high in caffeine, it gives me a buzz half way through my 500ml mug that I usually have this tea in. A delicious and well balanced tea. I highly recommended this tea.
