From our Chief Tea Taster
Submit
Aroma
Marked by notes of white orchids, cantaloupe with light green and citrusy accents.
Appearance
Light Gold
Taste
A light-bodied, pleasantly supple cup which starts with a soft floral texture akin to white orchids and gradually evolves to reveal enchanting notes of cantaloupe towards the middle, rendering a vivacious intensity to the liquor.

Subtle spring-green accents shore up along the edges which however ebb to finish on rejuvenating citrusy flavors, making for a memorable experience of spring black from this celebrated tea plantation.

Fresh and dynamic

I can't overstate how Teabox has enhanced my tea drinking experience by giving me the opportunity to drink an excellent first flush only days after it's picked. The Jungpana is an exemplary first flush with subtle hints of tangerine, honey and melon backed up by that distinct fresh grass foundation that is really spring in a cup. Your curation of the best of the best is always spot on.

Great tea, good price, incredibly quick shipping.

It's a great tea, at a very good price. The service was swift and smooth--I got the package faster than something I ordered the same day that was merely coming from a different state!!

Beautiful, High Class Tea

Jungpana sets the Gold Standard yet again with this one. This tea is delicate and complex mix of notes and flavors. The real specialty is how the vegetal notes of a typical Green tea are sporadically shadowed by complex floral flavors. Gentle yet full bodied, with a classy aftertaste. Having tried Jungpana first flush, which I found too mild and leaving you with a want for more lasting impact, this one is close to Oolong, yet nothing conventional about it. Its a must have in your collection.
Thank you Teabox for getting us this unique produce of the season!!

A very smoth, fruity and refreshing tea.
The aroma is excellent but ab bit subtle. I use a little bit more than normal.
Great tea to drink cold or chilled!

Fresh and floral

A great example of first flush Darjeeling. Spicy floral aroma like wild roses. Light bodied and extremely fresh tasting. I wouldn't call this a "black" tea, there is maybe 10% oxidation at most. Try it cold-brewed overnight in the refrigerator for something different.

I realy like this tea. It has nice fruity flavor, it's fresh and you can drink it anytime. I add little sugarand lemon and it's pefect to drink.

Very fresh-tasting

A fresh, mild, clean flavored brew with a lovely pale golden hue. The dry leaves have a nice springlike aroma, too. A pleasant surprise with this tea: after I got distracted and left it steeping for far too long, it hadn't become undrinkably bitter as some other first-flush Darjeelings do! One of the better first flush offerings.
