The sampler is tremendous - more tea than I expected, and the quality is outstanding. I love the nuanced flavors of each variety!

Love it all

I love assam tea but can only get one or two types in my small city. So I’m excited to try all the varieties in the sampler. I’m happy that the packets have white labels, so I can add my own notes and keep track of favorites for the next order. If you’re from the US and expect our absurdly giant-sized servings, please note that what counts as a cup is 5-6 oz. I double the amount of tea leaves and water in order to fill my usual 16 oz mug (room for milk!). The ratios listed are exactly right, and the aroma notes are mostly helpful, though I don’t yet recognize notes of maple syrup and dates and so on. The service has been great, with staff calling me to find out if the delivery has arrived. Expensive compared to what I’m used to spending, but it’s worth it not to support the colonial estates and huge corporations that have dominated the tea market for so long!
