Seeyok Special Summer Muscatel Black Tea
A bright fruity cup with a full-bodied, brisk liquor and marked notes of the doted Muscat grapes.
If there’s one thing you must try in the summer, that is a muscatel. A second flush Darjeeling specialty, muscatels are prized the world over for their rare and characteristic notes of Muscat grapes. This one from the esteemed Seeyok is a lively fragrant cup with mixed notes of plums, peaches and flowers. The muscatel flavors are pronounced and lend a distinct texture to the cup. Hints of vanilla can be found around the edges making this a quite complex treat. Soft wet wood trails come toward the end with an exquisite sweet-tart finish.
Toasted almonds, carob, hint of caramel interlaced with gourmet score of gianduja
Small, tightly rolled, blackish-brown leaves interspersed with some ochre-hued tips and open brown leaves
Big notes of grapes, dried drupes, wet vegetation and subtle undertones of vine peach
Short, mix of light and dark coppery leaves
