Established by the Government of Sikkim in 1969, this illustrious tea estate sprawls across 177 hectares of gently undulating terrain, embodying a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. Temi stands as a testament to the region's commitment to sustainable farming practices.

In alignment with Sikkim's status as India's pioneering Organic State, Temi tea estate embarked on an ambitious project in April 2005 to produce organic tea, drawing inspiration from the state's holistic approach to agriculture. Guided by the stringent standards of the Institute of Marketology (IMO) of Switzerland, the estate's journey towards organic certification has been marked by dedication and innovation. By embracing organic farming methods that eschew agrochemicals, Temi not only upholds eco-friendly practices but also ensures the production of teas that resonate with discerning consumers worldwide
