Is it vegan or lactose-free?

No. Every sachet contains real milk solids — that’s where the creaminess comes from.

If you’re lactose-intolerant or vegan, this one isn’t for you (yet).

I have diabetes — is there added sugar?

Zero added sugar. Sweetness comes from stevia leaf extract and the natural roundness of milk solids.

Many customers managing sugar intake choose it — do check with your doctor.

Why is Sunflower Lecithin added?

Sunflower Lecithin is a natural, plant-based emulsifier that gives your chai a smooth, creamy texture. It is a cleaner alternative to synthetic emulsifiers used in regular premixes.

Does it contain caffeine?

Yes — it’s made with real Assam tea extract. One cup has roughly half the caffeine of a coffee.

Why do I see tiny spice particles in my cup?

Because the spices are real and ground, not artificial flavourings.

A little sediment at the bottom is a good sign.

Does it taste like stovetop chai?

It tastes different from a slow-brewed stovetop cup — creamier and quicker.

Why do I sometimes see tiny spice particles in my chai?

SO FLAVORFUL!!!

Every morning since I got my chai premix box, I pick a mystery flavor from the box (I just grab one, I don’t choose a specific one, they are all good so far!), and mix with 8 oz of water (or sometimes coffee!) and sit and relax to a lovely cup of joy. One note, make sure you don’t use too much water, it throws off the flavor and makes it taste a bit hollow…8 oz is perfect, 10 oz is too much. I’m enjoying so much I ordered more.

Really the best premix I have ever had. It does taste different than my normal homemade stovetop chia tea. But definitely will work when traveling or short on time. You can still cook it on stove. I boil 10 oz water, add packet, your preferred sweetener, & add 6 oz or yr preferred milk. Boil additional 3 minutes. Really a treat & comforting tea. But again it is a different taste than traditional stovetop method. I’m impressed. Thank you Tea Box
