Tasting Notes

From our Chief Tea Taster
Submit
Aroma
Eminently floral, redolent of geranium, complemented by hints of raw mango
Appearance
Champagne
Taste
The liquor is light-bodied, exceptionally smooth, and richly floral.

A burst of white lily and geranium greets the palate, gradually deepening into a sweet, floral character. Hints of raw mango and fresh tropical fruit, reminiscent of muskmelon, weave through the cup, enhancing its vibrancy.

The finish is invigorating, with delicate accents of spring sap lingering in the aftertaste. A second steep at 5 minutes unlocks more pronounced raw mango notes, making it an excellent choice served over ice for a truly sublime experience.

Amazingly floral

An amazingly floral and smooth tea. The leaves are beautifully intact. I actually found some success brewing this gongfu style.

All round perfect tender-bold

This tea gives, and gives. As you can steep it twice and still enjoy the very fresh taste, with almost a natural honey like smell. Tad bitter at the end, only for me, as I steep a bit longer than 5 mins, which makes it better. One of the best I have tasted.

This one is a great tea that's low to moderate in caffeine but high in flavour. One of my favourite late night teas.

Spicy, flowery and aromatic

You cannot say this tea is not aromatic! It is quite unique, giving you coriander and flowers in your mouth. Again, Upper Namring is showing very specific teas that you cannot find in other gardens!

Easy on the mind and body

I'd suggest this to be one of those occasions to relaxing with a tv show or even reading a book outside with cause it has that very classic taste to it. Not very sweet but it was fresh and amazing when outside enjoying it.
Suggest not to over steep it, the flavor can get very bold and might need to be put in a bigger cup. All in all a great tea worth trying.

Just loved everything about this tea - leaves looked great and fresh - upon steeping I loved the aroma and the taste was smooth and nice - comforting. It was the first tea I opened and went back to it the next few days - LOVE IT!!!
