Tasting Notes

From our Chief Tea Taster
Teabox chief tea taster
Aroma
Sweet malt takes the lead, accompanied by a soft cocoa note and a delicate dried-fruit sweetness.
Appearance
Bright amber
Taste
The cup begins with a mellow sweetness before the characteristic Assam malt comes forward, giving the liquor a rich and satisfying depth. It is full-bodied without feeling heavy, with a brisk quality that keeps the cup energetic and fresh. Subtle cocoa notes add warmth, while hints of honeyed sweetness bring a gentle roundness to the profile. As the cup develops, a touch of stone fruit adds a soft, juicy layer beneath the malt. The finish is clean and gently brisk, with lingering warmth, light sweetness, and a comforting cocoa character. Familiar yet nuanced, this is a well-rounded summer black that captures the generous character of Assam.

Assam chota tingrai summer black

Assam chota tingrai is a v smooth n creamy n tasty tea. I always have my tea with milk , you need to add a little more than the usual amount of tea to get the required color n taste. This tea has lots of golden tips . There is no bitterness at all , it has a malty, caramel n slightly sweet taste , i have tried their halmari n mokalbari assam tea too. Chota tingrai is at par with mokalbari Assam tea , with halmari being my favourite.
