How To Steep

Step 1

Heat 150ml of water to 85–90°C (185-194°F).

Step 2

Measure 1.5 tsp (2 g) of tea into the teapot or infuser.

Step 3

Pour the hot water over the leaves and cover.

Step 4

Let it steep for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Strain and pour. These leaves give their best in one steep.

Serving

Perfect as it is. Add milk, any sweetener of your choice.

The tea is excellent — rich and full-bodied, just what I expect from a quality Assam. However, the outer box arrived with a dent. Thankfully, the inner pouch was intact. Customer service was quick to respond and even offered a small future-use coupon. A class act.
