Fresh greens layered with ripe melon, orchard fruit, and delicate spring blossoms.
Appearance

Taste
A refined spring cup with lifted floral notes, unfolding into layers of fresh plum, ripe cantaloupe, and crisp orchard-fruit brightness. The infusion carries a silky texture balanced by the lively briskness characteristic of Darjeeling’s finest first flush teas.

Honeyed undertones and delicate green nuances lend freshness and depth to the cup, while subtle hints of citrus and soft spice emerge gradually across the palate. Notes of tender greens and fresh fruit create a profile that feels both vibrant and finely structured.

The finish is clean, smooth, and lingering, leaving behind impressions of sweet spring florals and bright fruit, an elegant and expressive reflection of Darjeeling’s high-elevation clonal black teas.

Consistent and fresh, high quality first flush blend

This is one of my go-to teas. Not as aromatic as some of your single estate Spring teas, but high quality, fresh, and consistent as a blend should be. Lovely tropical fruit character (mangosteen, ripe mango) that especially comes through when cold-brewed.

It is decent

When I brew it for the recommended time, I find it a bit bitter. I brew it for a minute less and I find it good for my taste.

Smooth body but a light tea

I prefer my tea strong but this one though on the weaker side, surprised me. I enjoyed the unique aroma, the light taste and the smooth balance.

Fresh, smooth and flavoursome

Extremely fresh, smoothly textured and full of flavour. I'm not a big Darjeeling drinker but this is one that I always enjoy due to its top to bottom depth of flavour with hints of apple.

True Darj flavour and FRESH!

I try others and keep returning to this trusted option.
Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! This is bursting with flavour and character.
I use a tiny ceramic teapot to steep.
Too few leaves and its weak, too much and it tends to get bitter, so I am careful to stick to the right measure once I crack it.
Surprise!: It tastes great even when it comes to room temperature so I assume it will make a very posh iced tea.

Sweet and enjoyable

While steeping, the tea smells dominantly green and fruity. I think the overall flavour of the tea is a bit too mild, but there was a fairly pronounced sweet mineral-apple aftertaste that made the experience of drinking it an enjoyable treat!

Nice Darjeeling Blend

This is a very pleasant Darjeeling blend. You have to be a bit careful not to overbrew it but it has a very good and pleasant flavour. Well worth trying.

Very refreshing vegetal tea

After becoming a customer of Teabox I grew to appreciate first flush black teas. They bring together lightness, freshness and astringency of green tea and subtle notes of black tea. This first flush tea is particular refreshing, it's distinct aroma of freshly cut grass and floral notes reminded me of my childhood when we used to play in the orchard and get lost in the green pallet of grass and wild weeds. It does get slightly bitter if over steeped.
