What do you mean by Autumn Flush?

Autumn Flush' represents one of the four main & final tea harvesting seasons. This flush is harvested during mid-October till end-November.

The flush starts once the monsoon has withdrawn from the misty hills of Darjeeling with the temperatures beginning to drop.

What are the basic characteristics of Autumn teas?

Generally, Autumnal teas are usually well-balanced, having no sharpness or astringency that is typical of first and second flush teas. It’s less floral and delicate than the Spring flush.

It’s more fruity with slightly sweet, nutty undertones and mellowness, making it the most readily palatable of all Darjeeling teas.

What do you mean by Chinary Black tea?

Good, not as robust as last year

Good, flavorful, smooth, not as robust and strong as last years version which I picked from the tea sampler as exceptional. This is a good evening tea, more typical of Darjeeling. Personally, I like a stronger malty Assam and I'm more satisfied with Harmutty and Halmari teas. Teas do vary year to year. I've tried most of the black teas offered by this company.
