Tasting Notes

From our Chief Tea Taster
Submit
Aroma
Earthy, unripe tree fruit, burnt wood, smoky with undertones of red berries.
Appearance
Dark Amber
Taste
A full-bodied liquor with an earthy sweetness interlaced with vibrant notes of tropical tree fruit and undertones of burnt wood.

A pleasant level of astringency comes around from the smoky and firewood flavours which percolates through the length.

Overall, a smooth cup brimming with briskness and brightens the palate with a savoury aftertaste of red berries.

Mother of all tea

Probably the oldest and most standard of Darjeeling long leaf varieties, this never fails to please the pallet. A must for every tea connoisseur, and for those who are taking their first steps into the world of gourmet tea making !

Love Kadak

I’ve tried many, many brands of Black tea as I love the bold rich taste versus other teas. Teabox’s Kadak is my new favorite.
