    KNOW YOUR TEA

Planted in 1872, this gorgeous tea garden spreads out over 494 hectares. Situated in the idyllic Mirik region, very close to the Nepalese border, the garden enjoys panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga and is laced with rivers and rivulets - Mechi river to the North and Rangbang river to the South marking its boundaries. Thurbo tea estate has a reputation for manufacturing some of the best Darjeeling teas. This year's batch is unforgettable. As you begin sipping, sweet fruity notes arrive with hints of peach towards the middle. Subtle zesty tones with a hint of guava arrive towards the end, making it a unique cup of first flush 2021.
