Mai-Ilam Special Spring White Tea

description

This is certainly one of the more complex white teas we've tried this season. With a strong woody profile, it feels like an oolong but the briskness reins it back into the league of whites.

The liquor has an intense woody flavor profile. Notes of bitter nuts and burnt wood come through in the middle and last well into the finish. There is a light briskness to the tea as well as some astringency which rubs against the palate ever so slightly.
